Remember the Fallen

 Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 18, Detachment 0618 in Billings. He and four Marines were killed when their humvee was struck by a roadside bomb in the western province of Al-Anbar, a Sunni rebel stronghold.

Charles Victor "Chuck" Komppa

A 1990 graduate, Charles Victor Komppa was killed by a roadside bomb in the Al Anbar Provice in Iraq in 2006. Komppa was a member of the Navy Reserves Seabees unit and deployed to Iraq.  He was a member ofNaval Mobile Construction Battalion 18, Detachment 0618 in Billings, Montana. Komppa and four Marines were killed when their Humvee was struck by a roadside bomb in the western province of Al-Anbar. He joined the Navy after graduating from high school and served for five years. In 2003, he enlisted in the reserves while living in Montana.

Senior Airman Dakota Baker, U.S. Air Force, enlisted in 2009, and served five years. 

Spec. Jaryn Heimann, U.S. Army, enlised in in 2009 and served four years. 

Petty officer Rhett Schladoer, U.S. Navy, served five years.

Cpl. Brendnn Tate, U.S. Marine Corps., has served two years and is in the drum and bugle corps.

Petty Officer 2nd Class James Messer, U.S. Navy, enlisted in 2012 and served for eight years, including a combat deployment. 

Petty Officer 1st Class Jacob Myers, U.S. Coast Guard, is still enlisted with the Coast Guard after 12 years of service. 

Cpl. William Nolan, U.S. Marine Corps., served five years, including as a guard in Washington, D.C.

Petty Officer 1st Class Heather Gray, U.S. Navy, enlisted in the navy in 2014 and has served 10 years, including combat deployments.

Staff Sgt. Colleen McKinney, U.S. Army, enlisted in 2011 and served 10 years, including combat deployments.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyle Gray, U.S. Navy, served four years and served in combat.

Susan Attridge, U.S. Air Force, has served 16 years, and will retire with the Air Force in 2027.

Master Sgt. Suzanne Attridge, U.S. Air Force, enlisted in 2007 and has served 17 years.

Petty Officer, 2nd Class, John Joseph, U.S. Navy, enlisted in 2006 and is still serving as of 2024. He will retire in 2026. 

Sgt. Sergio Marquez-Lopez, U.S. Marine Corps, served four years, including three combat tours in Iraq.

Seaman Amber Klecka, U.S. Navy, enlisted in 2004, and served four years. 

Intelligence Specialist David Manry, U.S. Navy, enlisted in 2003, served for 11 years.

Master Sgt. Jennifer Attridge, U.S. Air Force, enlisted in 2002, and served 22 years.

Hospital Corpsman First Class Joanna Blades, U.S. Navy, enlisted in 2002, served 21 years, including four combat deployments to Afghanistan. 

Sgt. Micah Houck, U.S. Marines, served for seven years, including in combat, and was part of the MV-22 Osprey aircraft crews.

Chief Petty Officer Scott Senter, U.S. Navy. Scott Senter enlisted in the Air Force in 1989 as a junior, and served four years. In 2012, he enlisted in the Naval Reserves, but transitioned to active duty in 2013. He's now a recruiter based in Gulfport, Miss.

Cpl. Michael Sisca, U.S. Marine Corps, enlisted in 1990 and served three years and six months. 

Class of 1988

Allen Samford, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1989, and served four years. He earned the rank of petty officer. He is a member of the Ingram Independent School District Board of Trustees.
